Outline
The Adult Water Recue Training System is designed as a male full-body manikin. It’s an ideal choice for rescue exercises in the open ocean, streams, lakes or other inland waterways.
Skills Gained
· Water rescue
· Ventilation
· CPR
· External chest compression
· Abdominal thrust
Features
1) The manikin's limbs and neck joints are flexible, allowing for the positioning of the manikin in multiple postures to simulate different rescue situations.
2) Crafted from waterproof materials, the manikin is designed with volumetric and weighted properties to mimic an adult's buoyancy in a drowning scenario. The inclusion of an additional weighted vest allows the manikin to submerge, facilitating training in post-drowning recovery procedures.
3) CPR and multiple ventilation can be performed, like mouth-to-mouth or BVM ventilation, etc. Proper ventilation is visually confirmed by observing chest rise and fall.
4) External chest compressions can be demonstrated and practiced on the manikin, which is equipped with surface anatomical landmarks including ribs, the jugular notch, sternum, and xiphoid process.
5) The intensity and frequency of palpable carotid pulsation.
6) Foreign object removal can be practiced using abdominal thrust techniques, essential for clearing airway obstructions.
